Situated in Manston, near the coastal town of Ramsgate. Comprising 492 homes delivered across three development phases, this vibrant new community has been designed to integrate modern living with an emphasis on green infrastructure, biodiversity, and sustainability.

Design & Community

Spitfire Green offers a mix of apartments and family homes, many with views overlooking over 4.5 acres of public open space. The development is centred around inclusive outdoor living, with a children’s play park, wildlife zones, and landscaped areas that encourage residents to connect with nature.

This is a community where comfort, convenience, and a sense of belonging come together — supporting everyday life while promoting long-term wellbeing

Ecology & Sustainability

The project goes far beyond basic environmental standards, embedding biodiversity and sustainability throughout:

  • Over 4.5 acres of accessible public open space

  • Over 1.5 acres of wildflower meadows with bee-friendly planting

  • Nearly 400 trees and 4,700 saplings and hedgerows planted

  • Installation of bird and bat boxes, habitat piles, and log piles

  • Creation of biodiversity areas designed to support local wildlife

  • Almost 1 km of hedgehog highways to promote safe movement for small mammals

  • Inclusion of timber-frame homes to reduce embodied carbon

  • Electric vehicle charging points for future-ready transport solutions
