Nestled among open countryside and tranquil lakes, Hawthorn Grove offers a blend of rural tranquillity and urban connectivity for a range of 2, 3, 4, and 5 bedroom homes.

The development represents a sensitive yet forward-thinking architectural, civil, and structural response to the evolving character of North Mundham.

Designing with Context and Character

The development is rooted in a detailed understanding of the local built form and surrounding landscape. Rather than replicating the past, the project is designed to express a clear evolution of the village, the contemporary vernacular complements, rather than mimics, North Mundham’s existing charm.

The layout has been carefully developed to integrate with existing footpath networks and green infrastructure, creating a seamless extension of the village.

  • Flood resilience and drainage design respond to the local topography and soil characteristics, incorporating SuDS and landscape-led attenuation features.

  • High-quality road layouts and pedestrian-friendly links ensure the development is well-connected to both the core of North Mundham and neighbouring amenities in Hunston and Chichester.

  • Green buffers and visual corridors maintain ecological continuity, while supporting both biodiversity and recreational use.
