Miller Homes Golf Day in Aid of Childhood Cancer and Community Causes
As part of Banners Gate’s ongoing commitment to community involvement and social value, we were delighted to take part in the Miller Homes Golf Day in Warwick, held in support of two inspiring charities — the Grace Kelly Childhood Cancer Trust and Groundwork.
Representing Banners Gate on the day were Oliver Bayley, Rory Andrews, and David Hill, who joined fellow industry professionals for a fantastic event raising vital funds and awareness.
The Grace Kelly Childhood Cancer Trust works tirelessly to raise awareness of the signs and symptoms of childhood cancer, while also providing invaluable support to children and their families during the most difficult of times. Their mission is to ensure earlier diagnosis, greater understanding, and compassionate care for every family affected.
Also supported through the event was Groundwork, a charity that has been helping communities take practical action for more than 40 years. Their work spans environmental regeneration, youth development, and creating stronger, greener, and more resilient neighbourhoods across the UK.
“It was a privilege to represent Banners Gate at such a meaningful event,” said the team.
“The day was not only a great opportunity to enjoy some friendly competition, but more importantly, to raise awareness and vital funds for two charities that make a real difference in people’s lives.”
At Banners Gate, we believe that our role as a multidisciplinary civil, structural, and architectural consultancy extends beyond delivering technical excellence — it also means contributing positively to the communities we serve. Supporting initiatives like this reflects our commitment to building a better, more compassionate future.
We extend our thanks to Miller Homes for hosting such a fantastic day, and to everyone involved in supporting the charities. We look forward to continuing to engage in community-led initiatives throughout the year.
