Banners Gate Fundraises for Charities While Taking on the Birmingham Half Marathon
At Banners Gate, we have a strong commitment to community engagement, health and wellbeing, and supporting life-changing causes. A team from Banners Gate laced up their running shoes to take part in this year’s Birmingham Half Marathon — and their efforts have made a real difference.
A huge congratulations goes to David Allbright and Kavita Dhande for successfully completing the challenging 13.1-mile course through the heart of Birmingham. The team showed incredible determination and resilience, pushing through a tough race day with grit and good humour.
The event wasn’t just a personal milestone for each runner — it was also an opportunity to support charities close to their hearts, with the Banners Gate team raising funds for several vital causes. David Allbright raised over £1,800 for Cancer Research UK and Kavita Dhande raised more than £1,600 in support of The Brain Tumour Charity and Reverse Rett — all organisations doing exceptional work in medical research and family support.
We’re incredibly proud of our team for their efforts both on the course and in their fundraising campaigns. Their hard work and dedication embody the values we stand for: community, resilience, care, and impact.
Well done, team — and thank you to everyone who supported and donated!
