Celebrating Electric Umbrella at Barratt Homes’ North Thames Charity Gala
Banners Gate was delighted to participate in Barratt Homes North Thames’ annual charity gala, supporting the incredible work of Electric Umbrella—a UK-based charity that delivers live, inclusive music and interactive workshops for neurodivergent people and people with disabilities. We were entertained throughout the evening with performances by the charity as well as the opportunity to bid on Directors of BDW as help for the day!
Hosted at a Sopwell House, the gala evening brought together housebuilders, trade partners, and community leaders for a night of inspiring performances, silent auctions, and heartfelt celebrations. The evening entailed a showcase from Electric Umbrella, whose musicians shared the stage with professionals which exemplified the charity’s mission to empower and challenge perceptions.
The gala was attended by David Allbright, Liam Jones, Rory Andrews and Kavita Dhande and they were accompanied by BDW.

Liam Jones said:
“A wonderful evening celebrating such a worthwhile cause. It was great to see the work and achievements of the charity.”
The gala contributed significantly to Barratt Homes’ ongoing fundraising efforts. These funds help expand their reach, bringing live music experiences and education into schools and communities across Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire, and North London
We look forward to continuing our support and helping Electric Umbrella amplify the voices of their talented members.
