Supporting Electric Umbrella at Barratt Homes’ Charity Gala
Banners Gate was delighted to participate in Barratt Homes North Thames’ annual charity gala, supporting the incredible work of Electric Umbrella—a UK-based charity that delivers live, inclusive music and interactive workshops for people with learning disabilities.
Hosted at a stunning venue, the gala evening brought together housebuilders, trade partners, and community leaders for a night of inspiring performances, silent auctions, and heartfelt celebrations. The evening entailed a showcase from Electric Umbrella, whose musicians shared the stage with professionals which exemplified the charity’s mission to empower and challenge perceptions.
Banners Gate Director, John Byrne, said:
“We were deeply moved by the talent and dedication shown by Electric Umbrella’s performers. It’s a privilege to support such an amazing organisation that uses music to inspire, unite, and give a voice to those often unheard.”
The gala contributed significantly to Barratt Homes’ ongoing fundraising efforts—part of a year that’s already seen over £87,000 raised for Electric Umbrella since its selection as the charity of the year. These funds help expand their reach, bringing live music experiences and education into schools and communities across Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire, and North London
We look forward to continuing our support and helping Electric Umbrella amplify the voices of their talented members.
